According to the story of the Tower of Babel in the Genesis, God caused the people to suddenly speak different languages, as they were getting arrogant. This prevented them from communicating amongst themselves and scattered them across the world.
Now, more than ever, we need the common language of love, transcending the tongues spoken by different peoples. For the 2022 calendar, the Gulmeher team has come up with 12 beautiful words from across the world- words that may not have an exact translation in English, but convey so much more-through their charm, warmth and depth. Each word has been illustrated using dried flowers by Gulmeher artists, adding to the “gigil” quotient. (Gigil, in Tagalog, a language spoken in the Philippines, is the irresistible urge to hug something or someone cute).
Customization in terms of adding logos is of course possible.
