Production of all natural Holi colours at GulmeherThis year, we at Gulmeher, have already got to work to make your Holi a vibrant affair, one that is not only bright and colourful but, also environmentally responsible. The production of our ‘All Natural’ holi colours is in full swing and the Gulmeher women are enthusiastically engaged in the tedious process of converting vegetables and discarded flowers into these eco-friendly, chemical free natural colours.
These wonderful pastel colours with a natural fragrance undergo several carefully planned stages of production before reaching you. From collection of the right ingredients that are not only mild on your skin but are also completely biodegradable, to sorting these ingredients into groups that will combine tastefully to make the individual colours.
The various ingredients are then cleaned thoroughly to remove any impurities. What follows is a natural sun-drying process which does take a longer time but ensures that the fragrance and qualities of the individual ingredients is preserved. The dried material is then crushed and powdered and mixed to create the Gulmeher Phulwa Colours.
The excitement of Gulmeher women is beyond containment and we are committed to handcrafting these colours specially for you. We encourage these Natural colours, for we believe that their use not only exhibits a reverence for nature, but also shows our care for the health of our loved ones. Look forward to being a part of your Holi this year.
‘Let bountiful spring, not be tarnished by a chemical fling,
And our joy and hopes be expressed, by a colorful without, a colorful within.’
